The first Sunday of each month is designated as “Mac & Cheese and Tuna Fish Sunday”. Members provide these items as part of the weekend backpack program that helps food insecure kids bridge the gap form Friday to Monday when the school food program is unavailable. Church members provide a Christmas gift to a child from a parent who is incarcerated. Blankets are given to them from their friends at Prince of Peace. To learn more about this program of Prison Fellowship:
New or gently used children’s books are collected at church and then taken to Holy Cross to be given out when parents visit the food pantry.
